Labiaplasty is a procedure to alter either the labia majora (outer lips), labia minora (inner lips) or both. Over time, these tissues can deflate or become ptotic. Labiaplasty is usually an outpatient procedure, and can be performed under local anesthesia. Most patients are able to return to work within a week and postoperative pain is minimal. Labiaplasty can be safely combined with other procedures during a mommy makeover.
