Case Notes
This is a revision breast augmentation with mastopexy performed on a 41-year-old patient weighing 157 lbs. The patient wished to downsize her breast implants as well as to remove ptotic breast tissue. The procedure combined implant revision with a lift, repositioning the nipple-areolar complex higher on the breast mound. The after photo, taken two months post-op, shows the nipples sitting in a more forward-facing position compared to the before photo, where they pointed downward and outward. Vertical incision lines are visible on both sides and are still in early stages of maturation at this time frame. That's expected at two months; scars continue to fade for a year or more. If you're considering a similar combination procedure, Dr. Rita Sadowski can walk you through whether this approach fits your anatomy. Shown with the patient's written consent.
